Database- and application-development
Ace Interactive is a ccompany developing and marketing server based gaming systems for casinos, game halls and game & lottery shops.
The system architecture is distributed which requires very high reability regarding performance and security. Gaming terminals are connected to game servers which in turn are connected to the back office system using secure VPN tunnels over internet.
All game servers and back office system hosts an Oracle database which administers all gaming information.
My task in this assigmenent is to help the database group with development and maintainance of application programs.
During June 2010, I get the confidence to continue my engagement with Ace to the end of the year.
At Christmas 2010 I leave Ace for a new assignement at Telenor. The year at Ace has been very fun and rewarding giving me new knowledge and experience.
